Each graphic organizer presents students with one real-world word problem. Students must then organize the information they are given, solve, JUSTIFY their work and EXPLAIN their solution. The answer key has the correct solutions as well as sample work.
How to Use: Students can use these activities with a partner, as a warm-up , as classwork, homework, in math centers or group work.
*7.EE.3 - Solve multi-step real-life and mathematical problems posed with positive and negative rational numbers in any form (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals), using tools strategically.
*7.EE.4 - Use variables to represent quantities in a real-world or mathematical problem, and construct simple equations and inequalities to solve problems by reasoning about the quantities.
